Dr Vikas Mehta

Dr Vikas Mehta is a General Practitioner and Co-Founder of The Mayfair GP.

He is extremely experienced, having worked as a private doctor for A-list celebrities and leaders in business and industry, as well as in the NHS. He has also worked in many different countries, including travelling as a private concierge doctor. This means that he has experience with all hospital specialties and various working environments.

His private patients have described his bedside manner as being very professional and knowledgeable. This is why his clients request to keep seeing him, travel with him and also why he wants to increase his accessibility through the Mayfair GP.

Preventative medicine (keeping the body and mind fit) is Dr Mehta's primary belief: “Within reason, we have the ability in modern medicine to prevent most major medical issues.” He also believes in treating each person differently, calling upon all of his experience: “Just as every person is different, so their medical management too should be personal and tailored.” Part of the ethos of his practice is to always stay up to date with the changes of medicine, and contribute to its evolution. 

Dr Mehta is also dedicated to learning, teaching, and research. For several years now, he has been an undergraduate trainer for students at Imperial College London and King's College London. In addition, beginning in 2020/21 he will also be a post-graduate trainer for both the Imperial Medical School and the British Army.
