Dr. Andrew Bradford

Dr. Andrew Bradford is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine based in London and Somerset. With over 25 years of medical experience, he specialises in a broad spectrum of conditions including multiple sclerosis, chronic pain management, spasticity, insomnia, neurorehabilitation, and fibromyalgia.

Dr. Bradford earned a biomedical science degree, followed by his medical qualification from the University of Dundee in 1994. He has an extensive educational background, with further training in stroke medicine, clinical research, and GP training which he completed in 2002. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow and an MD focused on stroke care from the University of Dundee. Additionally, Dr. Bradford pursued a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of East London.

His career has encompassed roles such as a consultant in rehabilitation medicine at The Walkergate Park Hospital in Newcastle, where he also served as the clinical lead for dystonia. Dr. Bradford’s experience spans primary and secondary care settings where he has addressed substance misuse, pain management, disability, and complex health conditions. He is a pioneer in innovative treatment methods in rehabilitation and pain management, including the utilisation of cannabinoids.

Dr. Bradford offers e-consultations predominantly, alongside in-person consultations at the Medical Rehabilitation Clinic in Taunton and also at the Lyphe Clinic in London. His approach combines vast clinical expertise with a dedication to applying innovative treatment methods, making him a leader in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
