About Medical Rehabilitation

Medical Rehabilitation is dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals in the UK who are struggling with long-term illness or disability and are not benefiting from conventional treatments prescribed by their GP or hospital specialists. The clinic is led by Dr. Andrew Bradford, an experienced rehabilitation physician with extensive expertise in managing a wide range of physical and mental health conditions. His background includes the treatment of chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, spasticity, seizure-related disorders, tic disorders, chronic insomnia, and various mental health issues, including the use of medical cannabis.

Dr. Bradford graduated from Dundee University and later served as a research lecturer at The Western Infirmary in Glasgow, where he was involved in acute stroke trials and earned an MSc in Clinical Pharmacology and an MD in acute stroke interventions. His career includes a consultant role at Walkergate Park Centre for Neuro-rehabilitation and Neuro-psychiatry in Newcastle, as well as clinical leadership positions in several independent private rehabilitation units. Dr. Bradford has also gained experience in primary care, drug dependence, and secure unit medicine in the UK, and has worked in primary care in Australia. His ongoing interest in psychological medicine encompasses various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, ACT, CFT, MI, RT, PP, and HGT. Since 2020, he has been a specialist at the Lyphe Clinic and The Medical Cannabis Clinic.

Medical Rehabilitation is committed to supporting patients on their journey to better health and wellness. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of treatments, including conventional medical therapies, medical cannabis, psychotherapy, and biowave neuromodulation, all aimed at helping patients achieve their health-related goals. The clinic also collaborates with medical professionals to enhance patient care through rehabilitative medicine, psychosocial interventions, and the treatment of disability, palliative, and neurological symptoms using medical cannabis.
