Dr. Veena Patel is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital and also works at University Hospital of Leicester. With extensive experience in the management of a wide range of conditions, Dr. Patel specialises in rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (commonly presenting as back pain), soft tissue rheumatism, connective tissue diseases, metabolic bone disorders, osteoporosis, muscle disorders, and osteoarthritis.

The information and the advice Dr Patel gave was excellent and very helpful
There had been a mix-up and my GP sent an expedite letter for an appointment with Dr Patel, my osteoporosis consultant, when I needed to see Dr Royle, who deals with my rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Patel very kindly did a quick rheumatology review and is referring me to a hand surgeon (the reason I wanted to see Dr Royle) and reviewed how I'm getting on with my osteoporosis medication. Very helpful and reassuring.
