About Dr Tiong Yeng (Lawrence) Lim
Dr Tiong Yeng Lim is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at HCA London Bridge Hospital and The London Independent Hospital (Circle Health Group). He also holds an NHS consultant post at The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, where he provides specialist care in hepatology and gastroenterology.
Dr Lim graduated in Medicine from the University of Cambridge in 2008, where he was awarded the MB BChir and MA degrees. He subsequently completed specialist training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and General Internal Medicine in London and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK).
Dr Lim manages a broad range of digestive and liver conditions and performs both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. His specialist interests include metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), alcohol-related liver disease, autoimmune liver diseases, viral hepatitis and liver disease during pregnancy. He leads a joint Diabetes–Liver clinic, providing integrated care for individuals with metabolic liver disease, and also provides specialist assessment and management for patients with general gastroenterological conditions.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Lim has undertaken research into liver disease in pregnancy and is an active member of the Obstetrics–Liver multidisciplinary team at The Royal London Hospital. His research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at national and international conferences. He is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, where he is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

I’m recently attended to the hospital for an endoscopy but unfortunately I didn’t manage it and the procedure failed . Doctor Lim advised me to re-book for another procedure this time with a sedation method. As I will have a rhinoplasty on 9th October 26 I cannot book before the operation therefore I will ring the hospital after my surgery to book for the procedure.all staffs and doctor Lim were good and polite.

Today at 2.pm I had endoscopy here and expected AI based robotic treatment and service, But I was surprised from reception to, to the end of the endoscopy , The lady in the reception wearing hijab , Snez welcomed me as they know me for long time and was waiting for me. what i say regarding Pavlina, Maria, Irish , Izabela will not be enough for the service I received today from them. Endoscopy is not a easy procedure for a patient to tolerate but for me became so easy for their effort and help. I feel like I am in my family , so nothing to be worried. Dr, Tiong Lim ,is very dedicated and focused to his duty and responsibility as well as a great leader for his team. Finally as a patient my humble and honest request to the CEO and the in charge manager please value your best member of staffs , they are valuing your clints , clints will value your hospital. my google review is still pending since yesterday, do not know why. Anyway all of you are too good .
