Mr. Valsamakis has 18 years' of medical experience of which more than 10 years in ENT field. Following his medical degree and his Master of Science in "International Medicine and Health Crisis Management", he completed his training in all aspects of ENT.
He undertook Fellowships in Head & Neck and Rhinology surgery in Queen`s Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust in Glasgow between 2013-2015 and also completed Fellowship training in Paediatric Otolaryngology in Birmingham;s Women`s and Children`s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2016.
He was subsequently appointed to the post of ENT Consultant in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in 2006. In his department., he teaches and supports the ENT trainees as a clinical supervisor and he has the role of the Clinical Audit Lead.
His current practice covers all general ENT pathology seeing patients with common and less common disorders, such as glue ear, snoring, sleep apnoea, tonsillitis, halitosis, throat problems, drooling, thyroglossal cysts, nasal blockage, rhinitis, septal deviation, septal perforation, nasal polyposis, nasal deformity, hearing problems, voice issues, ear deformity. His special interest lies with nasal diseases and airway problems both for adults and children.
Mr. Valsamakis runs specialist clinics in Rhinology/Rhinoplasty and Children`s airway. Advanced sinus surgery is a significant part of his regular practice using state of the art equipment including a 3D Navigation system.
He has been invited as a speaker to regional airway meetings and as a faculty member in regional advanced endoscopic sinus courses.

Mr Valsamakis has been incredible so far with our 4 year old daughter. She hops in his chair each time with a big smile on her face, waiting for him to check for carrots and potatoes! After months of illness Mr Valsamakis looked after and treated our daughter with confidence. We now approach her surgery date and feel confident having Mr Valsamakis as her surgeon. I finally feel as though we are on the right track. Liane in the office is also very lovely and gives you her time and a listening ear when needed. Thank you both!

From the first visit to the last, everything Doc said was well-explained and he made sure I am worry-free pre and post op. Big plus for Lianne (Doc’s secretary) for always keeping me in the loop with appointments etc. Would highly recommend and would happily visit again in the future if any issues persist.
