Dr Theo Criswell

I am impressed by Dr Theo’s professionalism and the care he takes and his interest in me as a patient. I have one reservation. He referred me to a consultant and following that referral I have had a plethora of tests required by the consultant and recently I have not understood why more testing continues. Ok perhaps my failure to ask relevant questions at the right time. However, here I perceive a communication gap in my current circumstances between Dr Theo and me. Perhaps I was naive in my expectations.

Dr Theo Criswell recently carried out a medical for me and has also been incredibly helpful in putting together various medical plans and thinking through different options with me. What has stood out most is the amount of time and care he gives. He explains everything so thoroughly, never makes me feel rushed, and I always come away feeling listened to and completely clear about the plan. It feels genuinely unusual to receive this level of attention and continuity from a GP, and it has been such a different experience from healthcare I’ve received elsewhere. I’m incredibly grateful to have found him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I saw Dr. Criswell for a routine health check, bloods, PSA, cholesterol etc. He could not have been kinder or more empathetic. Carefully went through all the results and explained the readings in lay terms, their significance together with likely future predictions. He was very thorough. Great medical experience and I feel that I am in very good hands.

I cannot recommend Dr Theo Criswell highly enough. From the moment I saw him, he made what had been a worrying and confusing situation feel manageable. His knowledge is exceptional, and he diagnosed my condition almost immediately after others had struggled to identify the cause of my symptoms. He took the time to explain everything clearly and calmly, ensuring I understood both the diagnosis and the treatment plan. I never felt rushed, and his kindness, empathy and reassurance made an enormous difference at a very difficult time. What also stood out was the speed with which he organised referrals and investigations. Everything was dealt with efficiently, giving me confidence that I was in the very best hands. Dr Criswell combines outstanding clinical expertise with genuine compassion. He is an exceptional doctor, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under his care.

Dr Theo gets right to the root of the problem and does not give up on a difficult case: chasing down every symptom until a solution is found. You could not find a more conscientious doctor.

I have seen Dr Theo lots over the years, most recently for anxiety. He is extremely knowledgeable, is very thorough, kind, listens very carefully and I feel very reassured that I’m in good hands. I can’t recommend him enough as a family doctor!
