Was great to see Dr Hussain and feel confident when leaving the appointment
Went for a general introduction/discussion about my T1DM. Lovely chap. Very knowledgeable. Particularly about the technology.
Dr Sufyan gave us ample time to go through our concerns and we didn’t feel rushed whatsoever.
Great experience. Dr Hussain supported my auntie with her diabetes and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring throughout. He is a great listener and took the time to explain everything clearly and answer our questions. We felt very well supported and would highly recommend him.
I visited Dr Hussain as I am trialling the Medtronic 780g insulin pump and I had a number of questions about this and other pump systems. I had an excellent experience. I found the visit really informative and it significantly helped me think more clearly about how to compare different pump systems and their outcomes. Dr Hussain’s expertise in pump treatments really came through, as he was able to quickly get up to speed on my medical history, respond to all my questions, cross-compare the different pumps and give his view on what might be appropriate based on my needs / lifestyle. What really helped and I found particularly impressive, was that he is able to draw on the most up to date medical / academic research to support his thinking. For example, he referred to helpful recent studies and also the latest developments in pump technology. We covered a lot of ground in the session and I felt much more enlightened in making a choice around my future treatment. Dr Hussain is highly professional, communicates clearly (distilling complex issues into digestible summaries for patients) but also has a welcoming, affable style. No question feels silly and he really demonstrates a strong interest and energy in wanting the patient to reach the best solution.
Dr Hussain has been incredibly helpful in supporting me with care for my LADA diagnosis. He has been consistent and supportive with his advice, giving me the confidence to adapt my treatment to better manage my diabetes. He has also helped me to develop my knowledge and understanding about my condition.
Dr Hussain has continued to support me with my fairly new diagnosis of LADA. His advice is clear, consistent and supportive, allowing me to understand my condition further and giving me the confidence to make changes to my diabetes care as my LADA progresses.
I first met Dr Hussain in 2024, back then I was massively struggling with my blood sugar and received little support from my local team. Dr Hussain has provided outstanding care and support, my blood sugar, knowledge and confidence has improved massively. I’ve had a recent appointment where me made a few tweaks to my settings and as always receive the very best guidance from him both towards my control of my blood sugar and other areas of life like sport and work.
