Mr Stephan Grabner

Stephan Grabner is a highly qualified Holistic Therapist and the founder of the Amatsu Clinic, where he integrates a deep clinical background with advanced Japanese integrated medicine. Originally trained as a nurse in 1986, he spent three decades in international business development before a personal health crisis led him to discover the benefits of holistic therapy. After experiencing a successful recovery from longstanding hip and knee pain through treatment with an experienced Amatsu therapist in 2015, Stephan was inspired to retrain and pursue a full-time career in holistic therapy, driven by a desire to help others achieve similar outcomes.

His professional expertise is built on extensive training under world-renowned Amatsu instructors. Stephan has completed advanced training in both the UK and Germany, gaining qualifications in Amatsu Anma, Seitai, and Shinden, alongside diplomas in Japanese Physical Medicine and Japanese Acupuncture. This broad foundation enables him to combine traditional Japanese therapeutic principles with modern clinical knowledge to provide evidence-informed, patient-centred care.

In the clinical setting, Stephan employs a multi-disciplinary toolkit to support natural healing and mobility. He begins by assessing posture, gait, body alignment, and movement patterns, alongside muscle and kinesiology testing, before tailoring treatment using a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, neural therapy, and, where appropriate, ozone therapy to optimise patient outcomes. His ultimate goal is to empower patients to achieve a higher quality of life, moving beyond pain-relief toward long-term vitality.
