Amatsu Clinic

Amatsu Clinic is a holistic therapy practice based in Abergavenny, providing Amatsu therapy and a range of complementary health and wellbeing services. Amatsu combines Japanese movement-based techniques with modern anatomical principles and uses gentle, hands-on methods to assess posture, movement and soft-tissue function. Treatment is carried out while the patient remains clothed and may include mobilisation, fascial release, muscle-energy techniques, acupressure and massage.

The clinic supports patients with concerns including back, neck and joint pain, posture-related discomfort, sports injuries, sprains, strains, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, headaches and reduced mobility. In addition to Amatsu, services include acupuncture, ozone therapies, intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training, private blood testing, intravenous therapy, carbon dioxide therapy and doctor-led menopause and women's wellbeing consultations.

The team includes practitioners with backgrounds in nursing, Amatsu, acupuncture, Reiki, naturopathy, nutrition and general practice. Assessments and treatment plans are adapted to the individual, and patients may be referred to another healthcare professional when their needs fall outside the clinic's scope of practice.
