About Amatsu Clinic
Amatsu Clinic is a holistic therapy practice based in Abergavenny, providing Acupuncture and Amatsu therapy and a range of complementary health and wellbeing services. Amatsu combines Japanese movement-based techniques with modern anatomical principles and uses gentle, hands-on methods to assess posture, movement and soft-tissue function. Treatment is carried out while the patient remains clothed and may include mobilisation, fascial release, muscle-energy techniques, acupressure and massage.
The clinic supports patients with concerns including back, neck and joint pain, posture-related discomfort, sports injuries, sprains, strains, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, headaches and reduced mobility. In addition to Amatsu, services include acupuncture, ozone therapies, intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training, private blood testing, intravenous therapy, carbon dioxide therapy and doctor-led menopause and women's wellbeing consultations.
The team includes practitioners with backgrounds in nursing, Amatsu, acupuncture, Reiki, naturopathy, nutrition and general practice. Assessments and treatment plans are adapted to the individual, and patients may be referred to another healthcare professional when their needs fall outside the clinic's scope of practice.

I’ve relied on Acupuncture, Amatsu and Ozone Therapy for years due to suffering from chronic fatigue and suspected endometriosis. I owe most of my recovery to these therapies and the incredible team at the centre. I’ve recently started IHHT by Stephan’s recommendation as I feel I’ve recovered to about 80% of my previous health but I still struggle with energy, brain fog and immunity. I’ve had 13 sessions and I feel a huge difference in how quickly I recover after over exerting myself, how much more energy I have for example on holiday or in daily exercise, and how much longer it takes me to tire for example when driving. The effects have been huge. As many people with autoimmune diseases know, there’s not much support available from the NHS, and lots of us turn to alternative therapies in desperation. I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t taken the step to seek treatment from Stephan, and now I couldn’t go without it. If you’re sat on the fence - take the plunge, you won’t regret it!
