Mr Sreenadh Gella

Mr Sreenadh Gella is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of conditions affecting the upper limb, including the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He offers a patient-focused approach that prioritises precise diagnostic evaluation and individualised treatment strategies, helping patients recover mobility and alleviate pain through both non-operative and surgical pathways.

In his clinical practice, Mr Gella addresses a broad spectrum of upper limb pathologies, ranging from degenerative arthritis and complex tendon injuries to nerve compression conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome. He possesses specialist expertise in sports-related trauma, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, trigger finger, Dupuytren's disease, and elbow conditions such as tennis elbow and golfer's elbow. His treatment methods span conservative management, joint and bursal injections, keyhole (arthroscopic) techniques, day-case surgical procedures, and open reconstructive operations.

Mr Gella completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate orthopaedic qualification, Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics, at the University of Health Sciences in India. Upon moving to the United Kingdom, he completed his Basic Surgical Training before earning his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma and Orthopaedics. To refine his sub-specialist skills, he completed an international fellowship in sports injuries and upper limb reconstruction at the Pan Am Clinic through the University of Manitoba in Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Mr Gella is dedicated to medical education, clinical research, and surgical training. He serves as an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for foundation trainees and regularly lectures undergraduate medical students. He remains actively involved in research initiatives and quality improvement projects designed to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and care delivery within orthopaedic surgery.
