Dr. Simon Goldenberg is a highly experienced and respected consultant microbiologist who joined Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2005. He practises privately at London Bridge Hospital. He has a keen interest in healthcare-associated infections (particularly Clostridium difficile infections) and all aspects of infection prevention and control, making him an invaluable asset to the team. Dr. Goldenberg is also the assistant editor of the Journal of Hospital Infection.

Dr. Goldenberg received his medical degree in 2001 from Queen Mary University of London before going on to undertake a postgraduate diploma in infectious diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
