Dr Sarah Lancaster

Dr Sarah Lancaster is an accomplished Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in orthopaedic trauma and musculoskeletal care. She provides comprehensive management for individuals presenting with acute physical injuries, complex bone fractures, and soft tissue trauma. Focused on patient-centred clinical care, Dr Lancaster works closely with each individual to formulate evidence-based treatment plans that support effective recovery and long-term functional mobility.

Dr Lancaster completed her undergraduate medical education at the University of Bristol, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). She subsequently undertook advanced academic research to complete a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree focused on Basic Science. Her postgraduate surgical training was undertaken through the Thames Valley training programme, complemented by prestige international and national clinical fellowships in Melbourne, Australia, and at St Mary's Hospital in London. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCME) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery (FRCS Tr&Orth).

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Lancaster maintains a special focus on foot and ankle trauma alongside general musculoskeletal trauma care.
