Dr Sanjeev Maharaj

Dr. Sanjeev Maharaj is an experienced Doctor. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Ireland in 1998. Initially practising as a private General Practitioner (GP) in Ireland, he later relocated to the UK in 2009.

During his time at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, Dr. Maharaj pursued further training in general practice and successfully completed his GP training locally. With nearly sixteen years of experience as a local GP Principal, he has developed a keen interest in various areas of medicine, particularly minor surgery, dermatology, and musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

Dr. Maharaj has also contributed significantly to out-of-hours GP services. Following a decision driven by personal circumstances, he transitioned from full-time GP practice to prioritise the care of his young family. Subsequently, he has joined the dynamic and dedicated team at Fylde Private GP, where he continues to apply his expertise and passion for patient care.
