We’ve had a very positive experience with SGH and Mr Gupta. Mr Gupta took the time to explain my son’s difficulties and treatment needs in a thorough, clear and reassuring manner. He demonstrated excellent knowledge and expertise, ensuring that we fully understood the situation and the options available to us. He was friendly, approachable and exceptionally professional, with an excellent bedside manner. He communicated with both clarity and compassion and made me feel that my son was in very safe and capable hands.

I am so grateful to Dr.Sanj Gupta for the care he gave my daughter. I came to the ENT department worried about her repeated infections and needing antibiotics almost every month. He listened to my concerns and showed empathy for what we were going through. He explained everything step by step and answered every question clearly. I never felt embarrassed to ask anything, and he made me feel heard and reassured. His kindness and sense of humour helped my daughter feel at ease. After her operation, she asked where he was and When we got home, she told her brother how kind and funny he had been with her. Seeing her remember him with such happiness meant so much to me. What a gentleman!! He ensured my granddaughter was at ease through each consultation, each examination and each surgery.. His communication, empathy and compassion to us all was outstanding. As a family we will be eternally grateful. We cannot put into words how this gentleman made what was originally a traumatic and frightening time for my granddaughter into something she accepted without fearing. Thank you to Dr Gupta and the Children’s Hospital NHS for everything.

Mr Gupta has always been fantastic with my daughter and with us as a family. He has operated on my daughter twice and his care is second to none. Any concerns i have ever had, have always been eased with his explanations and warm demeanor. I cant thank him enough.

Mr Gupta consulted on our appointments in regards to our 3 year old daughter, whom has recently undergone surgery to support long term functioning of her swallow following concerns. Prior to the procedure, Mr Gupta explained in detail, the full process; including our options and possible outcomes for each. Mr Gupta engaged us all throughout all consultation periods, answering all questions and relieving any anxiety we had. We met with Mr Gupta pre surgery; again, answering any questionswe had. Post surgery follow appointments have detailed clear outcomes, and have allowed for extended support should we wish to contact Mr Gupta in the near future for any concerns. Overall, the experience has been fantastic; solely down to the calm, clear and professional manner in which Mr Gupta has provided.

Dr Gupta was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure my son received the right treatment during his appointment. My son has special needs and can become quite anxious in unfamiliar environments, and Dr Gupta was very understanding of this. He showed so much patience, kindness and compassion, taking the time to make my son feel comfortable and at ease. I’m extremely grateful for the care and understanding he showed us throughout the appointment.

I will always be extremely grateful to Mr Gupta for the wonderful and excellent care, kindness and support he provided to my daughter to overcome narrowing upper airways. Excellent care and a truly thorough approach After being referred back to Sheffield Children’s Hospital for a second opinion regarding my daughter’s tongue tie, we were seen by Mr Gupta, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care we received. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he had taken the time to thoroughly review and understand our daughter’s history and our previous experiences before we even walked into the appointment. This made us feel listened to and reassured that we were not having to explain everything from the beginning again. Mr Gupta took the time to listen carefully to all of our concerns and answered our questions honestly and without making us feel rushed. He explained all of our options clearly, including the potential pros and cons of each, allowing us to make an informed decision about what was best for our daughter. What particularly stood out to us was how comprehensive his approach was. He didn’t just discuss the procedure itself; he also talked us through aftercare and what follow-up would be available if it was needed. This gave us a much clearer understanding of the whole process and made us feel confident that our daughter would be properly supported beyond the appointment itself. After what had been a frustrating experience previously, Mr Gupta restored our confidence in the care we were receiving. He was knowledgeable, thorough, approachable and, most importantly, genuinely listened to us as parents.
