Ms Sandra Elizabeth Pieper qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the West of England in 1996. She worked in the NHS for eight years before spending two years studying for a postgraduate qualification, which led to membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).
Sandra then transitioned into private practice, spending four years at Harley Street where she worked primarily with amateur and professional dancers, as well as circus performers. During this time, she studied Pilates with the APPI, qualifying as an instructor, and has continued to incorporate Pilates into her practice.
In 2009, Sandra joined City Road Physio, now Barbican Physio, and has continued to expand her expertise in treating a wide range of injuries across the city workforce, from sedentary office workers to recreational sports enthusiasts.
After the birth of her own children, Sandra developed an interest in pregnancy-related pelvic pain and now enjoys treating women with pelvic health issues, such as diastasis (tummy gap), urinary incontinence, overactive bladder syndrome, and pelvic floor muscle issues, including weakness and overactivity. She has recently become a Mummy MOT Practitioner and continues to incorporate Pilates for all client groups.
