Dr. Sam Wood

Dr. Sam Wood is a Consultant with a rich background in general practice and NHS service, having graduated from Sheffield Medical University in 1999. She completed her GP training in 2006. With extensive experience across the Southwest of the UK, Dr. Wood has settled in Hertfordshire, where she specialises in women’s health. She has pursued specialised training through the British Menopause Society and is further advancing her expertise in this field.

Dr. Wood is dedicated to empowering women by providing personalised, informed healthcare. She strongly believes that every woman deserves care that is specifically tailored to her individual needs and ensures that her patients feel supported and heard throughout their health journey.

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Wood has a passion for adventure. At the age of 20, she raced a yacht around the world, an experience that sparked a lifelong love of travel. When not in the clinic, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with her family and staying active, often found at the gym or exploring new destinations.
