Mrs Sajitha Parveen

Mrs. Sajitha Parveen is a highly experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with an impressive career spanning over twenty-five years. Currently serving as a Consultant at Grange University Hospital in Newport, Mrs. Parveen possesses a comprehensive understanding of obstetrics and gynaecology. Her dedication to her profession is evident through her role as the Labour Ward and Research Lead at the hospital.

In addition to her NHS role, Mrs. Parveen offers private consultations for general gynaecological issues at St Joseph's Hospital. Her extensive knowledge and expertise cover a wide range of areas within her field, with a particular focus on ultrasound scanning, early pregnancy assessment, reproductive medicine, high-risk obstetrics, haematological antenatal care, and minimal access surgery.

Mrs. Parveen has honed her skills in managing cases of recurrent miscarriage, demonstrating her commitment to helping patients facing this challenging condition. She is proficient in both transvaginal and obstetric ultrasound scanning, further enhancing her ability to provide accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.

Her academic achievements include obtaining an MSc in Reproduction and Development from the University of Bristol, where she was recognised with the Michael Hull Prize for her outstanding dissertation. She also holds a Diploma in Obstetric and Gynecological Ultrasound from Cardiff University.
