absolutely 💯 in everyway thank you Mr frame

Mr Frame is one of those unique professionals who puts you at ease from the moment you first meet him. In my case, this was to impart the unexpected news that I had breast cancer. I will always be grateful for the gentle but straightforward manner in which he did this. My diagnosis set in motion a 4 week rollercoaster of events, ultimately resulting in a bilateral mastectomy and skin saving reconstruction. Prior to surgery, options needed to be considered and decisions needed to be made relatively quickly but Mr Frame’s clear explanations and compassionate approach meant I never felt overwhelmed. Mr Frame was proactive in making sure that test results were communicated to me as swiftly as possible. The ongoing support throughout the whole process has been second to none. I feel most privileged to have Mr Frame as my consultant and thank him for making such life changing events into such a positive experience.

Mr Frame is a highly skilled surgeon who performed a mastectomy with reconstructive surgery followed by an uplift to the other breast which due to his skill has resulted in my boobs looking like when I was a teenager! Mr Frame explained everything so clearly that I was always confident in what he was going to be doing with each operation. He always answered my questions fully and when I had issues with leakage from the operation site that he had had to re-dress as the weekend approached, he was very clear that I should seek assistance from A and E by asking the staff there to ring him personally so that he could ensure I was not waiting unnecessarily. I never felt rushed at appointments, he always explained the positives and the risks of each operation and treatment options so that I was able to make a fully informed decision about my treatment. His relaxed manner enabled me to be confident in everything that he suggested and I am so pleased with the results which have had such a positive impact on my self esteem.

Richard Frame is excellent at what he does. He explains everything in a clear and professional way and goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease and comfortable. When my results came back, he made it a priority to call me to let me know the good news just before Christmas in his own time, which I really appreciated. An exceptional surgeon, as both my lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes were extracted with just one incision. I would highly recommend him to all breast cancer patients.

Excellent, would highly recommend. Richard always answers any questions or concerns openly and honestly whether it's about long term care or HRT. I always feel I can contact him at anytime if I am worried about anything.

An outstanding Consultant. I have been under Mr Frame's care for two and a half years and from our very first meeting, I have felt to be in safe hands. He has a very caring nature and takes a great deal of time explaining what each procedure will entail and what I can expect from it. His aftercare is also exemplary. On the occasions when I have been anxious, Mr Frame's calm and empathetic manner has soon helped to put me at ease. Mr Frames listens, he is patient, I did not feel rushed. He took the time to explain and reassure regarding any issues/worries I had. I felt completely secure going into surgery.

From the outset of my breast cancer journey, Richard Frame has been understanding, helpful and reassuring. He went out of his way to help when I had issues over a public holiday. He listens to any concerns that I might have, putting my mind at rest through explanation or examination. Not only was he reassuring for me, but for my husband and family. I knew that I wanted to have a mastectomy, which Richard agreed was the right course of action. I also knew that I did NOT want to have reconstructive surgery. Richard questioned my decision about this, but for the right reasons and wanted to be sure that I was making the right choice. When I chose to have my remaining healthy breast removed for the purpose of symmetry, he challenged me to ensure that I was absolutely certain this was the right course of action, for me. This was done in a calm & professional manner, but once he was sure I had thought the decision through in detail, he was utterly supportive.

During a very difficult time I found Mr Frame very reassuring and calm with his clear explanations of what he could do, explaining my different options. I was very nervous about having surgery, but throughout all my cancer treatment it was actually the easiest part. Mr Frame was able to carry out a type of breast reconstruction that has left me with a much better result than I anticipated. I am healing very well and have the same shape I had before surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome and have found Mr Frame an absolute pleasure to deal with. He has answered all of my questions, explained each step clearly and always provided clarity and reassurance, which is invaluable when dealing with cancer.

Mr. Frame was kind, professional, supportive and informative from the very beginning. Given the news that you have cancer is initially very traumatic but while he was factual in planning my ongoing treatment, he was totally considerate of my feelings and wellbeing.
