Dr. Reema Chawla

Dr. Reema Chawla is a dedicated Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon committed to delivering patient-centred, high-quality care. Meticulous in her approach and known for her reassuring clinical manner, she works closely with individuals to provide clear guidance and tailored treatment plans. Her practice spans comprehensive skin health assessments, reconstructive interventions, and precision surgical procedures designed to ensure optimal cosmetic and functional outcomes.

Dr. Chawla completed her medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Birmingham, having developed an early passion for surgical disciplines. She also earned a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Surgical Sciences from University College London and was awarded a Healing Foundation research grant to support innovative research into skin substitutes. During her academic career, she served as President of her University Surgical Society and engaged with national committees at the Royal College of Surgeons. She subsequently completed specialist Plastic Surgery training in the East of England region, followed by advanced international fellowships in Madrid, Ohio, and India.

Her clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of skin assessments and surgical procedures, including full-body mole checks, mole mapping, and the surgical removal of both benign and suspicious skin lesions. In addition to her direct patient care, Dr. Chawla plays an active role in medical education. She serves as a faculty member on national FRCS (Plast) technical skills and revision courses, contributing to the training and development of future Plastic Surgeons.
