Dr. Rakhee Thaker

Dr Rakhee Thaker (MBChB, MRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH) completed her medical training at the University of Birmingham in 2003 following which she lived and worked in Sydney, Australia. On returning to the UK, she completed General Medical training, becoming a member of both the Royal College of Physicians in 2007 and Royal College of General Practice in 2009. DR Rakhee Thaker  went on to work as an NHS GP partner in West London. 

After a period living in Asia, she returned to Birmingham, working as an NHS GP alongside being part of the excellent Midland Health team. 

She has an interest in Diabetes, Cardiovascular Health and Adult Allergy. She is completing her Master’s degree in Allergy at Imperial University. She enjoys having the opportunity to take a holistic approach to patient care and tailor care to the individual’s physical, social and emotional needs to reach the best clinical outcomes. She performs joint injections, skin prick testing as part of Adult Allergy Consultation as further specialist activities.
