Professor Raman Bedi

Professor Raman Bedi is a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry based in London. Professor Bedi specialises in young children with extensive caries and full mouth reconstruction under general anaesthesia. For three years, he was the Chief Dental Officer in the UK and is currently the Chairman of the Global Child Central Fund.

Professor Bedi over 15 years of experience working as a Consultant Paediatric Dentist within the NHS. He uses his extensive knowledge and training to teach paediatric dental students in numerous countries. Each year, Professor Bedi runs a Senior Dental Leadership programme in partnership with Harvard University and King's College London.

At University College London, Professor Bedi held an Honorary Chair and also co-directed, for ten years, the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre at the Eastman Dental Institute. He was also awarded an Honorary Extraordinary Professorship in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Western Cape in South Africa.
