i recently had a reverse shoulder replacement at Berkshire Independent and wanted to say how amazing Prof Levy and his whole team were. The care and attention i received was amazing from the moment i arrived to dis charge, Thank you for finally getting me out of pain.

Thanks for the great review - we are so glad you are no longer in pain!
I've seen Professor Levy with a shoulder pain. I had a MRI and a ultrasound as well. He found the cause of the pain straight away. After 3 weeks I'm pain free.

That's great to hear! We are always happy when we hear the pain has gone!
Really good assessment and diagnosis with a quick decision in the necessary steps to resolution.

Thank you. We try and see everyone through to a diagnosis and treatment as quickly as we can!
Have now met with Prof Levy and his team a good few times now both before and after a quintuple shoulder surgery. I'm a little beyond three months now so hoping that Prof levy's hand drawn graph of marked improvement from +3 months surgery comes true. It deffo feels better, and i can actually already feel and see an improved long term health AND HAPPINESS outlook as a result of the surgery, physio support and care I received from the WHOLE team. Thanks, All - and including admin staff too, not just clinical staff. Helpful, patient and kind. Good stuff. Thanks, Ali N.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and we are so happy that you're long term health and happiness have improved!
It was disappointing that I was referred to someone who then recommended a treatment but would not accept payment by an insurance company, it had to be self funded!

Hello Many thanks for your review. Unfortunately, not all treatments are covered by medical insurance or the NHS. Patients are always presented with various suitable treatment options and ultimately it is the patient's choice which treatment they opt for. Many thanks
Very smooth and efficient

Hello Many thanks for your review. We're glad to hear of your positive experience :-)
To be seen by a gentleman who doesn't talk down to you, he is kind and considerent.

Many Thanks
My only disappointment with Professor Levy is that he seems not to prepare for our meetings. He spends time looking at my notes and checking his phone when I'm present.

Hello and many thanks for your review. There are many reasons why a consultant reviews a patient notes in clinic with the patient rather than ahead of time: 1. Direct Context and Clinical Correlation Verbal history: A scan or a written note only tells part of the story. Reviewing your imaging while asking you questions allows the consultant to match what they see on the screen with what you are feeling right then. Real-time verification: Symptoms can change between the time a scan was taken and the day of your clinic. Looking at the records with you allows the doctor to confirm that the data matches your current physical reality. 2. Patient Safety and Reducing Identity Errors Wrong-patient errors: In a fast-paced clinic seeing 20 people, looking at charts beforehand creates a high risk of mixing up complex patient details. Active confirmation: Reviewing the files while you are sitting in front of them ensures the doctor is looking at the correct name, date of birth, and scan. This eliminates the risk of misremembering details from a file they read an hour earlier. 3. Time Management and Overbooked Schedules Preparation time: Reviewing 20 sets of complex notes and imaging beforehand could take 2 to 3 hours of administrative time. Consultants simply do not have this extra time built into their contracted clinic day. The "No-Show" factor: On any given day, patients may cancel at the last minute or fail to show up. If a doctor spent 15 minutes thoroughly reviewing a file beforehand and the patient misses the appointment, that time is entirely wasted—time that could have been used for active patient care. 4. Better Communication and Patient Inclusion Shared decision making: Pulling up your imaging during the appointment allows the doctor to turn the screen and show you exactly what they are looking at. Improved understanding: Visualising your own anatomy or test results helps you understand your diagnosis and treatment plan much better than just hearing a verbal explanation. 5. Freshness of Information Immediate memory: If a doctor reads your notes at 8:00 AM but doesn't see you until 2:00 PM, they will have to review the notes a second time anyway to refresh their memory, effectively doubling their workload. I hope this information helps.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Professor Ofer Levy
