Miss Priya Ranu Bhatt

Miss Priya Bhatt is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon who practices at Beaumont Hospital (part of Circle Health Group), Royal Bolton Hospital, and Regency Eye Hospital. With extensive experience in oculoplastic surgery and cataract surgery, she specializes in treating a variety of periocular skin conditions, tear film dysfunction, blepharoconjunctivitis, epiphora, and thyroid eye disease. Additionally, she offers non-surgical rejuvenation treatments using botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections.

Her surgical expertise includes cataract surgery, lacrimal drainage surgery, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, and managing eyelid malposition. Miss Bhatt also specializes in eyelid reconstruction, particularly after Mohs micrographic surgery, and provides cosmetic eyelid surgery. She is the Clinical Lead for Oculoplastic services at Royal Bolton Hospital, where she has been involved in training junior surgeons for over 14 years.

Miss Bhatt graduated in Medicine with honours from Manchester University and completed her higher surgical training in Ophthalmology at both the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow and in the North West of England. She undertook advanced subspecialty training and a Fellowship in Oculoplastics at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. She was awarded the Certificate of Specialist Training and entered the Ophthalmology Specialist Register in July 2008.
