Dr. Priya Nathwani

Dr Nathwani has a very open and friendly approach to my 17 year old daughter. My daughter doesn't find it easy to talk to many health professionals but is more than happy to engage with Dr Nathwani. She gets to the bottom of any worries very quickly and helps Cecily talk through them.

Dr Nathwani has an excellent relationship with my daughter Amelia, she has made measurable differences to Amelia’s ability to engage with people and the world around her. We met over zoom and had a good session talking through Amelia’s struggles and achievements.

We had an exceptionally positive experience with my daughter’s psychiatrist, Dr Priya Nathwani, in the young persons outpatients clinic. From the very first appointment she created a warm and welcoming environment that immediately put my daughter at ease. Her approachable manner and genuine kindness made it much easier for my daughter to open up, which was no small thing. Dr Nathwani was incredibly attentive, really taking the time to listen, not just to what was being said but to what was underneath it. Our appointments never felt rushed, Dr Nathwani was fully present and deeply engaged. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident throughout and she explained everything in a way that was clear, thoughtful and reassuring. What truly stood out was the effort she made to get to know my daughter as an individual. She went above and beyond to understand her personality, her challenges and her strengths - rather than taking a one size fits all approach. That level of care and dedication made such a meaningful difference to us as a family. We all felt supported every step of the way and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Nathwani to anyone looking for compassionate, insightful and highly skilled care.
