Ms Nur Ali

Nur is an experienced Podiatrist who has worked at a senior level across three different continents, and she makes a great addition to the team here at Guy Gold Osteopathy & Physiotherapy. Her experience over the past 10 years has covered a wide variety of specialties, including assessments and treatments of fungal nails, verrucae, ingrowing toe-nails, corns, calluses, diabetic assessments, wound care and more. She has extensive knowledge of sports injuries and biomechanics including pathological issues such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, metatarsalgia, flat feet and achilles tendinitis.

Nur is equipped with the knowledge and skill set to assess and treat a variety of ailments in the lower limb, having recently worked as a Band 7 Specialist Podiatrist at CLCH NHS Trust in the UK and as Head of Podiatry at the internationally renowned Bauerfeind Polyclinic in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to her role as Head of Podiatry, Nur also gained extensive experience working as a Senior  Podiatrist in Australia and the UK. During her time as a Band 7 Podiatrist, Nur developed her expertise in dealing with the diabetic foot, solely and within a multidisciplinary setting.

Nur further diversified her experience and expertise by working closely with Orthopaedic Consultants at prestigious centres such as the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence in Dubai, with a particular focus on sports injuries and biomechanics. This involved working with national footballers, basketball players, competitive runners and more. Nur approaches her treatment in a holistic manner to assess and treat issues of the foot and ankle. She uses an open and honest evidence-based approach with all her patients within a comfortable and relaxed setting, allowing patients to make informed choices about their foot and ankle treatment options.

Nur graduated with a BSc in Podiatry at the prestigious Birmingham School of Podiatry within Aston  University in the United Kingdom. She is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry.
