Dr. Nirja Joshi

Dr. Nirja Joshi is a skilled General Practitioner, and a dance teacher, blending her passion for medicine with her love for movement. Her dedication to wellbeing, especially among healthcare professionals, led her to co-found @theworkwelldoctors and volunteer with Duty to Care, a charity focused on supporting medical staff.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions to wellbeing, Dr. Joshi was honoured with an Inspire Award in 2022 by The Royal College of GPs. Her journey in medicine began at St George's, University of London, where she completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. She then undertook rotations in South Thames before returning to St George's for her GP training.

Dr. Joshi is committed to ongoing learning and development, and she holds a PGCert in Healthcare Practice from Canterbury Christ Church University. Today, she continues to make a difference as a practising GP and Fellow for Health Education England, embodying the values of compassion, innovation, and holistic care in her work.
