I was fortunate enough to have Charlotte to care for me throughout my pregnancy with my third baby. It was a high risk pregnancy, and I was hugely apprehensive about it, having had two very complex births in the past. From the moment I met Charlotte, I knew I was in the best hands. She has a unique talent of making you feel calm and confident about your pregnancy and birth, whilst managing expectations and always erring on the side of caution and covering all bases with regards to medical care. She is calm, confident and has a brilliant sense of humour, which was much needed at points! I had a hugely positive Caesarean section under Charlotte’s skilled care. Despite it being classified as a category 2 emergency section, everything was calm, controlled and reassuring. Charlotte talked me through everything as she was doing it, and I couldn’t have asked for a better delivery, after a very traumatic birth last time. Postnatally, my baby and I both had some complications, and again Charlotte couldn’t have been been kinder and more supportive. I would 100% recommend Charlotte. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic natural birth experience with Charlotte Deans (third baby, first time with Charlotte, difficult birth for my second baby). She took the time before the birth to understand my needs and expectations. She discussed and planned the birth with the midwifes and the rest of the staff. During the labour, she was always available and monitored the situation. She proposed us many options and listened to us. She took time during the whole process to allow the baby to safely going down. The environment created around us was safe, comforting and empowering. I am very grateful to have had such an experience and a healthy girl. Thanks to this birth, I could recover and heal quicker than for my previous ones.

All three of my children have been delivered by Charlotte and I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough - not only is Charlotte exceptionally experienced and skilled as an Obstetrician but her whole ethos and approach to women during pregnancy, birth and beyond is completely unique and held by my husband and I in the highest regard. From the moment I met Charlotte when I was 37 weeks pregnant with my first child and was experiencing a whole range of issues I immediately felt completely at ease after my first appointment, Charlotte was warm, calm, emotionally in tune and supportive, listening to me and responding not only as a medical professional but also as a mother and women herself which instantly made me feel completely at ease knowing I was in the hands of someone who really understood where I was at and what I needed. Charlotte’s bedside manner and aftercare are truly exceptional, she deeply cares about her patients, is in constant communication throughout the pregnancy, birth and postpartum period and I could not have felt more supported and cared for by Charlotte during one of the most special yet vulnerable times in my life. I did not hesitate when it came to me having Charlotte as my Obstetrician during my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy’s - there is no one I would rather have take care of me and my growing family - Charlotte is truly one of a kind in her field and I am eternally grateful to her for bringing my baby’s earth side and keeping us safe and well during this scared time.

Charlotte was fantastic, would highly recommend her. We had an excellent experience with her from start to finish, felt well supported, well informed and could feel that she really cares about her patients. I wish we had had our first baby with her too!

Experienced, reassuring, thorough, kind and always available. This was my second c-section with Charlotte and I felt in such good hands from start to finish. My first c-section was an emergency and I felt she handled it with such a calm, clear, safe approach. The second was elective and she could not have made me feel more relaxed during the procedure. Talking to me and reassuring me throughout. She is always available for any question however big or small and I would recommend her to anyone.

Thanks to Charlotte, the birth of my daughter was an amazing experience, on which I frequently reflect with fondness. She was caring and friendly, yet remained professional and in control of the situation at all times. I truly felt like I couldn’t be in better hands from the moment of our first consultation until my baby was in my arms.

Charlotte has delivered my 2 babies and her pre and postnatal care is excellent. She has a very kind and calming manner and always has the best interest of the baby and you in mind. I cannot recommend her enough.
