There is no one in the world that I trust more than Charlotte. With her wealth of knowledge, pragmatic approach, warm, and kind hearted nature you instantly feel at ease. With all 3 of my pregnancies but especially my last, she went above and beyond- always at the end of the phone line, and nothing was ever too much, her bedside manner is impeccable and she listens with genuine care. Her aftercare is also exceptional. I will always be grateful for the love, care and kindness she has shown to me and would recommend Charlotte to anyone, without hesitation.

It seems impossible to imagine how anyone could give better clinical or pastoral care during pregnancy and birth than Charlotte. She is deeply kind. She is sparklingly clever. Her clinical knowledge is superb and she is clearly absolutely committed to the safety and wellbeing of her patients.  My husband and I met Charlotte following my diagnosis of primary tokophobia. She was empathy and professionalism personified. She listened with the genuine interest of a close friend. She gave us all the time we needed when explaining the answers to my questions. She proposed various steps to help me feel calm and reassured; nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I made various requests for the delivery including a “gentle” cesarean, delayed cord clamping and for me to be talked through the cesarean as it happened - all of which Charlotte facilitated. Charlotte replied to all queries extremely quickly. She put together the perfect team for the delivery day and even managed to crack some great jokes to help me to stay relaxed. Her follow-up care was also fantastic.  To quote one of the midwives “some medics ‘care for’ their patients and some ‘care about’ their patients - Charlotte is the latter.” We cannot thank Charlotte enough for her care of me during our birth journey and for safely delivering our little girl; we have recommended her to everyone. She is one of a kind and is utterly brilliant. 

Charlotte was fantastic- she made me feel incredibly settled and that I was in safe hands at every step. Her focus was always on me as well as the baby and I felt at ease and cared for throughout my pregnancy and birth.

We cannot thank or praise Charlotte enough for her care, attention to detail, personal touches as well as the C-section itself. Charlotte was readily available to answer all questions ahead of the delivery, as well as post operatively. Despite the nature of the delivery Charlotte ensured that it was special for us (something she placed great emphasis on throughout our meetings) and followed requests to administer a 'gentle c-section' with my husband observing the delivery, delayed cord clamping and being handed our baby upon delivery. Charlotte has an incredibly warm and comforting bedside manner, whilst remaining professional and always being highly informative. She believes in fully informing patients so that they are confident and comfortable in their decision making process. This really was apparent! Throughout the procedure itself Charlotte ensured that we understood the process and what was happening in real-time, whilst continually checking in to keep us reassured and calm. Her professionalism is second to none and we couldn't possibly have hoped for a better birth experience or consultant. Our baby arrived safely and calmly and to this day is a chiller - we credit much of that to the manner in which she entered the world and the environment created by Charlotte and her team. Charlotte looked after me for the birth of my second child. We had had quite a stressful experience following my first birth so were apprehensive about the birth process second time around. As soon as we met Charlotte we immediately warmed to her. I felt very confident she would take great care of us and ensure we felt comfortable every step of the way. She is incredibly caring and compassionate and we felt like we were in very safe hands. I wish she had been at my side for my first birth and cannot recommend her highly enough!

I would highly recommend Charlotte, without any hesitation. She was caring and approachable throughout my three pregnancies, all of which were different. I felt confident and assured that I was in the best hands possible.

Charlotte delivered our third baby this year and the only thing I wish I’d done differently is have found her sooner so she could have delivered all three. She provides truly woman centered care, is extremely thorough, warm and compassionate. The birth did not go to plan, yet when things had to change I felt informed and that baby and I were safe at all times. I would highly recommend her care.

I felt so incredibly looked after by Charlotte. She was by and on my side the whole way through and despite not going entirely to plan I managed to have the best birth I could have. She really was amazing.

Charlotte is the nicest and most professional obstetrician we know. She made the entire birth experience and follow up the best experience of our life. She is so caring and takes the time you need and listens. She explains very well and is always available at any time. We love her !

I had the best experience throughout my second pregnancy thanks to Ms Deans. She was very approachable and supportive and she always made me feel calm and relaxed. My journey through labour and post-op recovery was very smooth and I will always have it in mind as a very positive experience all thanks to her expertise and gentle bedside manners.
