Very good explained everything made me feel at ease

I perceive him as extremely competent and professional with clear explanations and very approachable. I initially consulted him about a reduction in hearing ability which I thought was the result of an obstruction. Nick considered the possibility of a more serious condition (vasculitis) which after tests proved to be the case. The condition developed before final diagnosis and I collapsed and spent 8 days in hospital. I continue to be treated and progress is good but my prognosis could have been a lot worse without Nick identifying the possibility of vasculitis and I may have died or suffered a serious stroke as a result of the way the disease affected me.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Clifton . I had sinus problem during lockdown and very worried about but luckily I could make an appointment with Dr Clifton after lockdown was eased and I can say that after looking my cavities in my nose he didn’t find a big problem but still recommend to do scan to be sure there is not problem . I only can say that people who had a sinus and nose problem don’t hesitate to see Mr Clifton best consultant I have ever seen .

I found Doctor Clifton to be firstly very warm and friendly. This certainly helps with initial nerves and worry. Dr Clifton explained the process for the examination and also maintained that reassurance during. Once complete he explained his findings and diagnosis. I had not known anything about my condition and Dr Clifton took the time to explain it to me with all possible side effects. He detailed a full course of tests to ensure a comprehensive assessment was made and that I was safe. I am extremely happy that firstly I made the decision to get checked and secondly ended up under Dr Cliftons care.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Clifton. Highly professional, caring and diligent he made my young son feel at ease and involved during the whole Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy process. Delighted that we chose him as our sons surgeon.

I have been a patient of Mr Clifton’s for 4-5 years following many sinus issues. Mr Clifton has also carried our two surgeries on my sinuses. He has been an exceptional consultant and surgeon and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has always been very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment of my sinuses and I am now considerably more comfortable breathing and with very few sinusitis episodes.

I saw Mr Clifton after having some discomfort and the feeling of something stuck in my throat after swallowing a small piece of dry ice from a cocktail on holiday. He was extremely reassuring and kind. Mr Clifton arranged a procedure with his colleague and a referral to a gastro enterologist all in record time as he knew I was also suffering with anxiety about what was going on. Highly recommended!

I have seen Mr Clifton several times with both of my children who were suffering with ear problems. Mr Clifton immediately made my children feel very at ease and explained everything to me in a detailed, yet easy to understand, manner. We had seen several other doctors who are unable to help with the ear problems that we were experiencing, however it was Mr Clifton who found the root of the problem and now both children are symptom-free. The after-care was superb and I felt I could contact Mr Clifton with any queries without hesitation. I would highly recommend Mr Clifton.

Have seen Nick Clifton for years in relation to an ongoing ear problem and I am always really impressed with his bedside manner, explanations and friendliness. He’s obviously really experienced and is able to explain things in a simple and understandable way. Feel like I’m in very safe hands and would thoroughly recommend him.
