Mr Hanief was professsional, warm, humble, caring and personable. Mr Hanief explained calmly and empathetically what to expect at each stage from diagnosis, pre-operation and post operation. His approach and mannerism made me feel at ease. I knew I was in good hands and I would be fine. He is a great listener and answered my questions thoroughly. Thanks to you.

I saw Mr Haneif at the Parapet clinic after I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. He listened carefully to my concerns and was reassuring. After the surgery he saw me again and was able to explain the implications of what had been found, what further treatment I might expect. I left feeling positive and with a reconstructed figure, for which I am very grateful!

I sincerely hope this review helps anyone reading it. I first met Mr Hanief in October 2020. For me personally I would say that apart from being an excellent surgeon, Mr Hanief is a kind man and he recognised my high anxiety at the time of my DCIS diagnosis (my Dad fighting cancer, my Mum dementia, my resilience very low). Mr Hanief has a playful sense of humour that does not in any way undermine the seriousness of his work or the situation; in fact it helps one better able to cope. Mr Hanief is a humble, hardworking man who demonstrates empathy and so it is not difficult to have trust in him. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his care and especially during these most challenging of times of Covid 19.

I was under the care of a different surgeon (with whom I was very happy) for my breast cancer diagnosis, during my pre surgery chemotherapy, and for my surgical consultation. When I was offered a date for surgery the first one available was with Mr Hanief and so I took it purely based on the earlier date. Mr Hanief called me prior to the surgery and went out of his way to meet me and arrange further tests to make sure I was well enough for the procedure. He called me as soon as the results were available, and the surgery went ahead as planned. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. It was my first ever surgery and so I was anxious about it, but I can only praise the entire team for reassuring me and looking after me so well. The procedure went well, and clear margins were achieved. In addition, I am very pleased with the aesthetics. In terms of the breast there is no notable difference; it looks the same as it did before. Remarkable! My experience of Mr Hanief is that in addition to being a talented surgeon he appears a kind, caring, hardworking, and humble man. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and I am very thankful for the care he has given me during these extremely challenging COVID19 times.

Mr Hanief is not only a brilliant surgeon technically, but he is also the most caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable man you could meet. He inspires total confidence and I felt very reassured and knew that I was in extremely capable hands.

Mr Hanief has treated me with a level of care and consideration that has been extremely welcome given my experience with other medical professionals. He spends the time to get to know you as a person and works to ensure that his work is part of an overall medical/care plan and does not just treat you for the immediate diagnosis. His level of followup is regular and genuine and he really cares about his customers/patients and their next steps. I would recommend Mr Hanief very highly and say that he is a genuine, caring individual who I'd come back to many times for advice in the future.
