Mr Christopher Brew presents as professional, informative, reassuring, and friendly to his patients, performing hip replacement, total knee replacement, and knee arthroscopy procedures. Patients report immediate pain relief and improved mobility after surgery, and highlight thorough explanations, efficient processes, and excellent post-operative care from Mr Brew and his team. Some patients mention initial recovery pain was important; they report the life-changing results make it worthwhile, with the greatest benefits being the return of quality of life and becoming pain-free.
Had hip replacement, operation went really well, recovery going great, very pleased with the the whole experience and I'm walking without any pain whatsoever. Thankyou Yorkshire Clinic & Christopher Brew. πππ
Mr Brew was very friendly but extremely professional. He talked me through my hip replacement and I felt secure in the knowledge that he was a very experienced consultant. I was concerned about pain relief after the op but I need not have been, as it was managed perfectly. My whole experience was better than I could have expected. Once again thank you so much Mr Brew I am delighted with everything concerning my hip replacement.
I was home the same day & made a very good recovery. My mobility improved very quickly & I put that down to attending aqua aerobics & aqua pilates, which enabled me to maintain a good level of fitness prior to the op. Highly recommend it.
Amazing to be rid of the chronic hip pain endured for 10 years. I would highly recommend having the operation rather than suffering. I am now back at full mobility & back fell walking.
Diagnosis was quick and the MRI requested not long after. That whole process was easy when I had it. Next I know I'm booked in for the keyhole surgery! Everything explained was easily understandable and the whole care process before, during and after the op is brilliant. My knee now doesn't have a dull ache from having damaged my meniscus. Looking after the wound was easy and scars etc minimal.
The decision to have a knee replacement was complicated for me by having recently being diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer with metastatic spread to bones including secondaries in the femurs (thigh bones). My surgeon explained all the additional risks that this created but I went ahead with a replacement 2 months ago which has been a big success. I am now walking soundly and pain free on that leg and looking forward to a replacement on the other leg asap !!
First class experience. Mr Brew and his team were in my opinion the best you could wish for. If you are nervous about having knee replacement as long as you follow the rehab which is difficult you will benefit from this procedure in the years ahead.
Excellent care from Mr Brew. Anyone who is considering a hip replacement surgery should go ahead with it it has given me my life back sounds dramatic but thatβs how I feel
It is now over 8 weeks since my operation and the transformation that I've experienced has been amazing. I cannot praise Mr Brew and all at Yorkshire Clinic highly enough. I was very well briefed of what to expect throughout and the guidance given, timely and concise. Thank you.
I had my hip op on January 15 th 2026 and I recovered really well. The team at BRI are absolutely first class from the initial greet staff to the anaesthetist , I felt really safe and very well looked after. Post op the staff and physios on the ward could not have been more helpful.
Mr Brew is a highly experienced consultant colleague with excellent results. He sub specialises in hip and knee joint replacement and sports injuries. His personal approach and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend him
