Mr Yatin Patel

Yatin Patel received training from some of the best experts in Bristol, Birmingham, London, Oxford and Sydney. Since 2011, he has been working as a Consultant General Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. He has been performing various elective and emergency general surgeries in children up to the age of 16 years, including upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery and thoracic surgery as well as chest wall deformities. Yatin Patel leads paediatric surgical oncology for the North of Scotland. He often works with his Paediatric Gastroenterological colleagues by using less invasive techniques for surgical practices in managing conditions like inflammatory bowel disease. He is a consultant at the Albyn Hospital and performs inpatient care and surgery at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. He consults commonly in his clinics on gastrointestinal & abdominal pain, constipation, GORD, anorectal pathology, foreskin problems, lumps and bumps Ingrown toenails, Inguino-scrotal pathology, ankyloglossia, and upper lip ties chest wall deformities, and cystic Lung Lesions.
