Mr Tuabin Rasheed

Mr Tuabin Rasheed is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon based in Nottinghamshire, UK. Following his graduation and completion of his general surgery training including several subspecialties (ENT, Neurosurgery, Paediatric, Plastic, Thoracic, Urology, Vascular, Orthopaedics & Fractures), before beginning his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at Royal Victoria Hospitals & Ulster Hospital in Belfast, UK.

During his time at King's Mill Hospital, Mansfield UK he established a successful breast reconstructive unit although had to later withdraw in order to support the breast services at Nottingham Breast Institute. He is one of the first plastic surgeons in the UK to be appointed to cover both Plastic and Breast services.

He offers a whole range of cosmetic surgical / nonsurgical options at the BMI Park Hospital, including Breast cancer and reconstructive surgery.

He has a specialist interest in breast reconstruction and microsurgery. Also providing the full spectrum of breast reconstruction with fat transfers, Implants & Autologous tissue using local flaps (LICAP, LTAP, T-DAP & LD) and free flaps (DIEP, TRAM, I-GAP, S-GAP, TUG & PAP)

Mr Rasheed is also a keen teacher and is the current lead educational supervisor for the National Oncoplastic breast surgery trainees at the Nottingham Breast institute. He is also in charge of plastic surgery trainees at both NHS and private hospitals.
