About Dr Thomas Kwok
Mr Thomas Kwok is a Consultant Opthalmologist based in Kent, UK. He completed his undergraduate studies in Medicine at the University of Edinburgh in 2005. He then undertook his speciality training in ophthalmology in the Wales deanery, followed by a medical retina fellowship at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. He has worked in numerous hospitals across the country, during which time he has gained a huge amount of experience and expertise.
Mr Kwok has a specialist interest in diabetic retinopathy, vascular pathologies of the retina, and age-related degeneration of the eye. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London, and remains active in medical education by being a designated Clinical and Educational Supervisor to junior doctors. He now lives in Canterbury and is married with two daughters, speaks fluent English and Chinese, and enjoys playing table tennis in his spare time.
