Mr Srinivas Chintapatla is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at York Teaching Hospital since 2004, with particular expertise in advanced colonoscopy, laparoscopic surgery and complex abdominal wall hernia repair.

The York Abdominal Wall Unit runs 6 specialist trianing courses each year where Mr Chintapatla teaches junior residents (targeting "Small Bites" ), surgical registrars (Cadaveric Simulation for advanced operative techniques in complex hernias) and early career consultants (on how to set up a Abdo Wall Unit ).
