From the moment I started to describe my symptoms I knew I was in good hands. Mr Pain took the time to listen to me and he suggested surgery. I have now had the surgery and I was very well cared for throughout the whole process.

I was referred to Mr Pain following a breast cancer diagnosis. I honestly feel lucky to have him as my consultant, he is frank and honest with the facts but able to convey the message with empathy and without being alarmist. His bedside manner is excellent , he is extremely kind and caring.

Mr Pain has an excellent way with patients. I never feel as though I am being rushed through the appointment. His explanations are very clear and pitched to enable understanding. For me, he does not sugar coat the diagnosis / explanation and this suits me.

I found Mr Pain took the trouble to explain my condition in detail, honestly, sympathetically and in plain and simple terms. He was very patient, kind and considerate of my feelings. in the circumstances I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.
