Mr Rob Frymann

Mr Rob Frymann is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with specialist interests in core urology, urological cancer, upper tract laparoscopic surgery and laser surgery. His areas of interest include kidney, bladder, prostate and testicular cancer, Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), prostate resection and laser stone surgery.

Mr Frymann completed his undergraduate training at the University of Sheffield. His basic surgical training was followed by two years of research in Bristol towards his MD thesis, examining the treatment of benign prostatic obstruction. He subsequently trained as a specialist registrar in the South Thames region, which included a two-year oncology and laparoscopy fellowship in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

Mr Frymann has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon since 2008, specialising in upper tract laparoscopy and laser surgery. He has performed HoLEP since 2009 and continues to audit his results.

His professional memberships include the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Association of Urological Surgeons and the British Medical Association. He is also a trainer recognised by the GMC.
