From my initial consultation through to my latest review, the communication, reassurance and empathy from Mr Hargrove has been excellent. I always felt that I could raise any issues and concerns with him and all my queries were answered in easy to understand terms.

He was very informative in a clear and concise manner. He listened well, was supportive and came up with excellent plan for operating on both hips. I was impressed with his surgical skills. I have had an excellent outcome on first hip so I will feel confident when he operates again on my other hip.

Mr Hargrove was professional and friendly on each occasion when we met. He explained the procedure and the risks involved. He was attentive and asked if I had any questions to ask. He visited me after the procedure and again before I was discharged. I am pain free post op and am able to resume my previous activities. Since the op I have been pain free in my back which I had lived with for many years! He adjusted the length of that leg. I only wish I had met him many years earlier.

After previous meniscal repairs on each knee and this time a half knee replacement I would not go anywhere else than to Mr Hargrove. From why I needed it to post operation I have always felt in safe hands with full explanations. Most importantly he listened to my thoughts on and after the operation and took them into consideration.

I have seen Mr. Hargrove on numerous occasions, previously for 2 total hip replacement operations, and more recently for an ongoing issue with my knee. I find him to be a very professional consultant who takes time to explain the findings of the various tests that are undertaken, in the best manner to ensure that everything is understood. A very pleasant gentleman to discuss medical concerns with who is open and frank at all times.
