A most caring, professional and attentive gentleman. One who clearly see himself as an important part of the bigger team and enjoys the respect of his colleagues.

Mr Hargrove explained everything about the procedure and the possible complications in an easy way that anyone could understand. Although I was referred back to Mr Hargrove by my GP and the NHS paid for my total hip replacement I thought he treated me like I was a private patient and thought Mr Hargrove was absolutely fantastic. Since first meeting Mr Hargrove when he diagnosed the work to be carried out on my knee until discharge it has been a superb experience. Mr Hargrove instilled confidence in myself throughout from our first meeting to discharge. Words fail me to describe how good I believe he is. Suffice to say the knee is really on the mend.

Mr Hargrove discussed all eventualities prior to my operation thus making me feel very confident with the forthcoming procedure. His insistence that I could make contact if I had any queries post operation was very comforting. Mr Hargrove did a complex Hip Revision on my right hip in February. I couldn’t fault his approach, from the first appointment he was very helpful in explaining the detail of the problems I had and his proposed solution to them. He was very clear about the risks involved and set my expectations about the recovery progress I should expect after surgery. During my stay in hospital Mr Hargrove was attentive and quick to address some problems I had post operation. Throughout the whole exercise he inspired confidence and thankfully the surgery has improved my mobility and set me up to have my left hip fixed later in the year. That surgery will ,of course, be carried out by Mr Hargrove.

He was very thorough in explaining the pro and cons for the operation.
