I cannot fault the treatment I got from Mr Hargrove. The operation seems to have been a complete success, with a rapid recovery time. I didn't feel that he "talked down" to me at all when he explained things. I did feel that he genuinely cared about outcome.

I was extremely nervous about the whole thing but Mr Hargrove made me feel comfortable and at ease He explained everything in a way that I could understand I would Highly recommend him

Having been operated on twice before by Richard it was like visiting an old friend who you have complete trust in. The only thing he does not suport the Springboks in Rugby. The team at Spire View are wonderful and caring contributing to rapid recovery.

Explained the risks, managed expectations, made the correct anaesthesia decision, surgery was pain free, scar is minimal, early days but the knee is working much better than I anticipated .

I found Mr Hargrove very pleasant, helpful and very understandable in his explanation of the condition, the options and the possible outcomes. I've recently had a left hip revision operation under Mr Hargrove's care. This is the second revision he has carried out for me this year as I had the right hip revised in February. I'm pleased to say that recovery for both operations is progressing well and I have no doubt my quality of life will be much improved by the time I reach the anniversary of the first surgery. Mr Hargrove has always been very clear in his explanations about all aspects of the treatments he manages and I've found that he is always ready to answer questions in simple understandable terms. I hope that I'll not require any further surgery but if it is necessary then Mr Hargrove would be my first choice of surgeon without doubt.
