Mr Rajindra Singh

Mr Rajindra Singh, also known as Mr Raj Singh, is a highly skilled Consultant Urologist specialising in uro-oncology, with particular expertise in the treatment of urological cancers such as prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. He is one of the few surgeons in the UK who performs advanced robotic surgeries, including robotic prostatectomies, cystectomies, and partial nephrectomies. With a background in both public and private practice in his native Trinidad and Tobago, Mr Singh further improved his skills through fellowship training in uro-oncology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and University College London. He now practices at Bradford Royal Infirmary, where he is instrumental in developing the hospital's robotic surgery programme, conducting over 120 robotic procedures annually.

Mr Singh’s expertise in robotic surgery offers patients significant benefits, such as reduced bleeding, less pain, and quicker recovery times. He performs all his cancer surgeries robotically, utilising the Da Vinci surgical system, and is a recognised proctor, mentoring other surgeons both nationally and internationally in this specialised technique. Alongside his clinical work, Mr Singh is actively involved in research, contributing to national clinical trials and publishing in prestigious journals such as the British Journal of Urology International.
