Mr Peter Cooke

Mr Cooke is clearly a very experienced and knowledgeable Consultant. This became apparent from very early on during my first enlarged prostate consultation. Throughout both consultations he was able to provide detailed and easy to understand explanations to all my questions. From a position of uncertainty and concern before meeting Mr Cooke, I left at the end of the second consultation with a clear understanding of my prostate condition and a plan of action moving forward. In addition his Secretary Mary Riley is a most diligent, helpful and kind person. She goes above and beyond in providing reassurance and guidance when arranging appointments. The two of them combine to make up a very strong and knowledgeable team which is so hard to find in our modern AI world!

Peter Cooke is excellent at explaining medical issues and procedures in simple terms. My experience of his service and treatment has been first class. In my case, the surgery he performed has been life changing and the advice he provided along the journey has been spot on.

This was a follow up appointment after recent scans and treatment. I was pleased to be able to report that I have not had a recurrence of any infections. Mr Cooke provided a swift pragmatic and accurate diagnosis of my symptoms ( 63cc prostate, acute urinary retention 1.2ltr and kidney function drop to 26%) which engendered confidence in the aquablation treatment proposed . The operation went seamlessly and was relatively pain free - ( although the amount of blood in one’s urine post op is alarming ! ) . Full function was restored in just over a week and I was able to ease back into race training (running ) 3-4 weeks post op. If the proposition fits your circumstances I can wholeheartedly endorse the process and specifically the outstanding capability of Mr Peter Cooke .
