I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in spines. My clinical interests include spines, soft tissue injuries, arthroscopy, degenerative lumbar conditions including degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, disc herniations and back pain.
I studied Medicine at Guy's Hospital, completing my basic surgical training in London, Kent and at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. My higher surgical training was on the Guy's and St Thomas's Rotation, before completing a Spinal Fellowship in Ireland. In addition to my work at the Benenden Hospital, I am a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at The William Harvey Hospital, Ashford where I hold a Leadership role and I am the GIRFT Clinical Lead for the South-East of England working closely with egional and National figures to raise standards in my speciality.

He is exceptionally professional, exceptionally skilled and thorough, investigating all options available. He is highly respected by colleagues and patients alike. He is honest, explaining the pros and cons in easy to understand language, and if there are any questions he will happily, patiently answer them.
Mr Yanni clearly articulated the outcomes of recent surgery, and next steps in my recovery process. I feel confident that I have the full picture of what to expect and the best way to proceed. He is very personable which puts you at ease, and always patiently answers all my questions, no matter how random.
