Mr Michael Wearne is frequently described as professional by patients. Many report transformative results from procedures such as cataract removal using multifocal, trifocal, and toric lenses, often achieving 20/20 vision and spectacle independence, even with astigmatism or previous Lasik surgery. Patients appreciate his thorough explanations, patient manner, and the overall excellent care provided by him and his team. The most notable outcomes are associated with successful cataract surgery.
Recently had YAG laser capsulotomy treatment which was painless, no side effects and has delivered clearer vision in my right eye. Mr Wearne is a true expert and consummate professional

Thank you so much for the positive review and delighted that the laser treatment sharpened the vision as expected
Mr Wearne fitted Rayner Galaxy Multifocal lenses in both eyes. Now I no longer need glasses Delighted with Mr Wearne in every respect Highly recommended

Thank you for the review and recommendation!
My right eye cataract was operated on by Mr. Wearne a couple of years ago and I was very happy to go back to him when I needed my left eye operated on. This time I had a Rayner Galaxy Toric Multifocal lens put in my left eye. I am very pleased with the results - my vision is now excellent. Occasionally, I need to wear reading glasses ( not a prescription just a pair bought from any shop) if I am doing some close work or reading small print in poor light.

Thank you for the feedback - very pleased that we achieved the goal of you being spectacle free for the vast majority the time
I had Blepharoplasty on both eyes. It was done under local anaesthetic but was completely painless and I am truly thrilled with the results. Mr Wearne was amazing, gentle and reassuring. I would recommend Lewes Clinic to anyone. Where all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Delighted that you are pleased with the result and thank you so much for the positive feedback
It is now several weeks since Mr Wearne fitted me with Galaxy lens implants in both eyes and it has exceeded my expectations. Before I had been using disposable contact lenses for about 25 years with all the inconvenience involved. I was hoping that the replacement lenses would remove the to need for any sight aids at all and to leave me with acceptable night vision. Now I have better vision at all distances and in all lights, far better than I was expecting. Mr Wearne was very thorough in the consultation and pre assessments, and when carrying out the procedure both he and the nurses were re-assuring and caring.

Many thanks for the review - great that you can see so well without needing spectacles or contact lenses!
Cannot recommend highly enough. I have had two cataract procedures which resulted with 20/20 vision in both eyes. So patient, kind and professional. Absolutely fantastic experience
First class service. Total professionalism. After care second to none.
Very thorough, detail examination and explanation. Excellent follow up care . Couldn’t have had better care
I am a retired GP, very shortsighted and with high astigmatism. Mr Wearne used RayOne EMV Toric lenses and I am amazed and delighted to find I have perfect distance and near vision , not needing to wear any glasses from now on.
I am probably the most anxious patient especially anything to do with eyes. Mr Warner showed great empathy and patience throughout. I will highly recommend him. All the staff were excellent and kind.
