I have had a first class experience of cataract treatment with Mr Smith at the Exeter Eye Hospital and all his team. I have been very impressed by the friendly, listening, proactive approach over all my appointments and the actual treatment and have felt fully confident of an excellent outcome which has been achieved. As a result I can see without glasses for all everyday functions for the first time since I was 9 years old and had to wear glasses. It is amazing and I cant wait to be able to go swimming without a guide! I realise how fortunate I have been with all aspects of my treatment with Mr. Smith and the Exeter Eye Hospital when I have compared notes with friends treated elsewhere. Although it involved a lot of travelling from Portland, it was well worth every mile! I am truly grateful.
I always appreciate the calm professional way Micheal Smith is on my eye appointments with him. He explains so clearly & reassuringly any procedures & questions l may have.
I went to see Mr. Smith after a very unsatisfactory experience with NHS. He was clear, giving me the right information,, and importantly I felt I could trust him, so felt very reassured I was in the right hands.
Very helpful, friendly and informative experience from everyone.
An excellent appointment with a very professional, knowledgeable and thoughtful surgeon in Mr Michael Smith. We are extremely grateful for an excellent result following cataract replacement, with 20 20 vision in both eyes. We are very grateful to Mr Smith for his clinical excellence. We’d also particularly like to thank Chantal for her kind and gentle care of the preliminary eye tests which helped to relieve very natural anxiety. Please extend our thanks to her. All in all an excellent experience.
Follow up after SLT procedure 6 weeks ago. Professional and very clear assessment and entire process smooth and trouble free. Also very efficient and well supported by staff at Exeter Eye including Chantal and Anna.
