I am always very happy with the treatment I get from mr Andrews .
Friendly and gave confidence, very pleased, thank you Mark,
I found it easy to book an appointment to see Mr. Andrews and the consultation was thorough and my condition was explained to me in terms that I easily understood. Mr. Andrews arranged for me to have an MRI scan and the appointment came through within days. The MRI scan procedure was simple and again everything was explained to me. I am having a telephone conversation with Mr. Andrews this week to find out the results of my scan and discuss the way forward. Mr. Andrews replaced a hip joint for me thirteen years ago which was life changing for me , as I am a farmer. This enabled me to go about my farming activities free from pain and regaining my mobility. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Andrews.
Unfortunately the injection did not the pain relief that I expected
I was quite disappointed with my consultation I found Mr Andrew's to be abrupt and lacking empathy towards me and I was only in his office 20 minutes.i had a stroke in November 2023 I had physio from the rehab center who were very helpfull and got me walking a little but the physio finished I January this year.i have been doing exercises everyday but havent had ay help and I felt like my affected leg was not right.this is why I came to nuffield as I wanted to see if my leg would maybe need something to help me.i told Dr Andrew's that my leg doesn't feel right and he replied that he is not a miracle worker and he wouldn't be able to operate on my leg Of which I hadn't asked him to.he made me feel that I was wasting his time and I need to have neuro physios.im sorry that I went to see him.a very un sympathetic man.
Mr Andrews explained everything in full, he told me he was going away for a month but he told me he would have a word with one of his colleagues as I was an urgent case.
I have recommended Mr Andrews so many times since he replaced both of my hips five years ago. He is kind, funny, professional, efficient and gets the job done, what more could you ask. After the recent snow in the North York Moors I was concerned I had damaged my hip, he saw me very quickly and assured me it was muscular, what a relief. Don't go to anyone else, simply the best!
Despite being extremely busy Mr Andrews kept me well informed regarding my hip operation and allayed any fears I had. I was kept well informed at all stages of the procedure . I found him to be a skilled and professional surgeon to whom I am extremely grateful.
Mr Andrew's was honest, clear and positive. And he was right.
A BRILLIAN COLLEGUE AND A VERY GOOD SURGEON
