About Mr. Keith Britton

Mr Keith Britton is Consultant Physician specialising in Nuclear Medicine. He is renowned internationally for his invention of infection radioactive antibiotic for infection imaging, as well as his research into radionulide measurement, and diagnosis and therapy of cancer with radionuclides.

He qualified from the University of Cambridge in 1963, before undertaking specialist training in Nuclear Medicine. He was appointed as a Consultant physician to St. Bartholomew Hospital in 1976 and was made a Professor in Nuclear Medicine in 1993.

For a number of years Mr Britton was the Director Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research) Nuclear Medicine Group. He is also the co-founder and past president of the European Association Nuclear Medicine and is a member of the British Nuclear Medicine Society.
