Dr Desmond Owusu

Dr. Desmond Owusu is a highly accomplished Consultant Radiologist and the Director of MyScanHub, specialising in advanced diagnostic imaging. He began his medical journey at King’s College London, where he earned a BSc in Physiology in 2011 followed by his medical degree in 2013. He then became a specialist in Clinical Radiology in 2021 earning Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Owusu has developed extensive expertise in oncological staging and complex cancer imaging. This includes a significant period as a Clinical Fellow at the world-renowned Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where he focused specifically on Body MRI and Oncology. His subspecialty interests include prostate and genito-urinary imaging alongside nuclear medicine and PET scans, allow him to provide diagnostic insights for patients with urological and haematological malignancies. 

Dr. Owusu's clinical practice is defined by a commitment to rapid, proactive healthcare and the use of cutting-edge technology to improve patient outcomes. His leadership role at MyScanHub drives the clinics ability to provide diagnostic consultant-led services in the Dartford and the surrounding areas.
