Mr Trickett was approachable and explained things very clearly with any drama. Made me feel all would be fine
I had been seeing Mr trickett just under a year and would say I had a great experience. Mr Trickett is not only an excellent and precise doctor but maintains such professionalism when working with his patients whilst also being such a kind hearted and well spoken doctor.
Dr Trickett is very professional, always helpful and I trust his expertise 100%. I have been having operations and procedures with him for a number of years and always feel fully supported and that he has my best interests at heart. Thank you.
Dr Trickett performed surgery on my perforated bowel in April 2025. Mine was a difficult case due to late diagnosis by the GP, so that by the time I saw Mr Trickett my bowel was such a mess that it was difficult to see what had happened. It was also very infected. Rather than perform a colostomy, Mr Trickett repaired the breach and dealt with the infection using antibiotics. This worked and saved me from more invasive surgery. Throughout Mr Trickett was completely clear and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. The surgery was performed with great skill and the scars are hardly visible. I consider him to be a highly experienced and able surgeon and I feel very fortunate that he was in charge of my care.
Dr. Trickett has performed surgery on me twice now and both times it's been done with the utmost care, efficiency and professionalism. It's not just the quality of his work, but his bedside manner and him caring beyond the surgery, working his schedule around mine to ensure I received the surgery I needed.
My recent visit was for a sigmoidoscopy as a follow up plan for my colorectal cancer. Mr Trickett was as usual exemplary in all aspects.
Clear explanation of issue and proposed surgery/solution. All went well.
My visit to the Runnymede Hospital was very well organizes from my first consultation to the day of my operation and recovery time after the operation. A well planed structure was in place at reception on both visits with office and nursing staff fully in control of the next move I had to make. Nothing was too much trouble, with smiles along the way as I was escorted to my designated bedroom that was designed to a very good standard. I was able to relax before and after my operation knowing I was in the highly professional hands of a smooth-running team from start to finish.
